This workshop will teach participants how to prepare and spin raw wool into warm, delightful and beautiful skeins of yarn, ready to knit or weave. History of hand spinning and use of different fibers will be discussed. Emphasis will be on the history and use of Navajo-Churro wool, which was brought here by Don Juan de Onate in 1598.
