Open studios will show acrylics, oils, watercolors,
pastels, mixed media, encaustics, sumi-e, fiber arts, glass, jewelry,
sculpture, print-making, photography, woodworking, wearable arts,
digital arts, ceramics, and musical instruments.
The weekend’s celebration begins on Friday, May 13 with a gala Opening Night reception in the Preview Gallery at La Tienda at Eldorado, 7 Caliente Road, Ste B-1 from 5-7:30 pm. It’s an opportunity to meet with the artists, view their work and enjoy refreshments provided byWhole Foods and the Eldorado Supermart. Classical guitarist David Wescott Yard and keyboardist Doug Frantz will provide the music.
73 studios showcasing the work of 110 artists will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm.
The Preview Gallery, sponsored by the Santa Fe Trust will be open on both days from 9am-5pm and is a good place to plan your route with the brochures and maps that will be provided.
