This workshop will utilize concepts from John Torreano’s book “Drawing By Seeing.” The morning sessions are group directed and consist of exercises designed to confront the difference between seeing for everyday use and seeing for the purpose of drawing. The afternoon sessions will be individually directed wherein students try to apply ideas from the morning sessions to their own work. A number of slide discussions will be included.
