Public Art Tour of Santa Fe, New Mexico with Camden the Dog (Dean Howell)

Sporting a new summertime doggie-do, Camden kicks off summer by visiting Entrada Park.  Located at the corner of Cerrillos Road and Don Diego Avenue, Entrada Park was specifically designed to accommodate a rotating display of art of loan.  Pictured here, “Slow Climb Into Space” by Santa Fe’s own Dean Howell.  This large native stone and steel sculpture was formerly on display at Amelia White Park on Old Santa Fe Trail. Installed at Entrada Park in November, the piece will remain on display through June 2012.  Who knows where it might go next.

Over the years, Dean has been very generous to the City’s Art on Loan Program.  To learn more about him and his work, visit: http://deanhowellstudios.com.
