WHAT: Santa Fe Studio Tours 2011

Free Preview Party (June 17) Santa Fe Studio Tours 2011 (June 18-19) An exciting opportunity for tourists and locals to meet the people who make Santa Fe a creative and “different” city as well as one of the best art markets in the country. Forty-two of Santa Fe’s fine artists will open their private studios to display, sell and demonstrate their art throughout diverse neighborhoods across Santa Fe. Art media include printmaking, collage, photography, sculpture, pottery, fiber, jewelry, Ukrainian eggs, oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, encaustic, and mixed-media. Art in all price ranges and sizes is featured. The Studio Tour Preview Party on Friday evening, June 17, at Santa Fe University of Art and Design’s Fine Arts Gallery will showcase the breadth and depth of the artwork on the tour. The Fine Arts Gallery will be open on Saturday (9:30 a.m.- 4 p.m.) and Sunday (11:30 a.m.- 3 p.m.) to serve as the hub throughout the weekend where visitors can pick up a map and see a sample of each artist’s work.

Studio Tours: Visit 29 Private Studios of Santa Fe’s Professional Artists across the City of Santa Fe, from Canyon Road, the Plaza and the Railyard to the Rodeo Road, Rancho Viejo and Santa Fe Community College neighborhoods and many in between.
