Marquetry is a technique where different colors of wood veneers are carefully cut to fit precisely together creating a design in wood. The workshop will focus on the double-bevel method of marquetry. This highly accurate technique is cut by hand and creates tightly fitting marquetry pieces. With practice, the cutting of the veneers can be mastered. Through daily lecture, demonstration and hands-on work, participants will gain a thorough understanding of marquetry. No refunds after July 17.
