About the Artist:

I am originally from Great Barrington Massachussetts. At the age of twenty one, I created a two panel comic strip for the local newspaper.

I studied art with a correspondence school, Art Instruction Schools, which is located in Minneapolis Minnesota.

In 2004, I moved to Santa Fe New Mexico to study art at the Institute of American Indian Arts. That year my paintings were selected for the annual winter art show. I also participated in various art exhibitions such as “Art In The Raw.”

I illustrated a children’s book, “The Little Cat, the Wonderful Witch and the Clever Mouse.” In 2009, I was asked by PBS to teach a Reading Rainbow workshop.
