Public Art Tour of Santa Fe, New Mexico with Camden the Dog (DeeAnne Wagner)

Public Art Tour of Santa Fe, New Mexico with Camden the Dog (DeeAnne Wagner)

Wrapping up his visit to Entrada Park, located at the corner of Cerrillos Road and Don Diego Avenue, Camden pauses to view “Red Chair” by Santa Fe artist DeeAnne Wagner.  Originally part of the Art on Loan program, DeeAnne generously donated this eye-catching red powder-coated steel sculpture to the City’s permanent collection. Within the next year the piece will be permanently installed at a City-owned location.

DeeAnne is a prolific artist whose work includes sculpture and works on paper—always with a hint of fun.  DeeAnne states, “One of the most important parts of my work is its whimsy. I use simple forms to create light-hearted pieces with hopes that viewers don’t take my artwork or themselves too seriously.”  View more at www.dwagner.com
