Santa Fe artist Rosa Silbert has claimed a small strip of park space outside the Salvador Perez Pool’s courtyard, adjacent to Alta Vista Street, as her own. Beginning with the installation of “The Integrity of Diversity” in January 2009, Rosa has created a colorful display of art on loan that has grown to include “Sun Dance” and “Jamie’s Rainbow” (pictured here.) Camden is impressed that “Jamie’s Rainbow” is constructed from steel rod and recycled coffee can lids!
“Sun Dance” will be retired soon, but Rosa’s already planning her next proposed installation.
