Learn the basics of using your digital SLR (DSLR) camera through classroom demonstrations, discussions, a photo assignment and a field session. Topics will include the different types of DSLR cameras, how to use aperture and shutter speeds, white balance (what it is and how to use it), camera filters, the basic principles of effective composition, and more. This class is recommended for those new to DSLR photography as well as film photographers who want to switch to digital.
- Students must have a digital SLR camera.
