It’s that time of year again! August is the most beautiful time in Santa Fe, NM, especially on Canyon Road… Come out and celebrate at the Sevillanas Jam!
Professionals and students alike will sing and dance accompanied by guitarists Jaime Martinez and Yves Lucero. Bring your castanets, wear a traje, and come share your love of Spanish Dance in a casual, festive, party environment.

Julia Chacon is a former principal dancer for Maria Bentiez’ Teatro Flamenco. She currently directs the troup Inspiracion Flamenca and has toured nationally and internationally with New York based Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana since 2008. In the last year she has performed in 17 cities and touched the lives of over 1,000 students. When she is not touring, she teaches in Santa Fe.
Photographer Teresa Neptune has self-published two books, Mirare and Flooded Desert. Her photos were called “gorgeous images,” and ,”the best show [in Santa Fe],” by the New York Times. Her work is included in the permanent collection of the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington DC.
