All landscapes, even highly realistic ones, capture only a tiny portion of nature’s panorama of detail. One form of abstraction is to focus attention on only two or three details. We’ll investigate simple under-painting techniques & mapping strategies that capture nature’s essential forms. Participants make their own small painting. No previous experience needed.
