An experienced teacher and full-time potter, Theo Helmstadter teaches wheel-throwing, hand-building, glaze formulation & application, and firing techniques for cone 10 reduction. Want to learn to throw & assemble large pieces? Dig & process local clay? Explore new teapot designs? We’ll begin with a discussion of what you’d like to learn. We can cover basic & advanced wheel-throwing techniques; trimming; glazing; glaze formulation; reduction firing; and additional topics – just ask! I love teaching both beginners & advanced students.Includes all materials and a two hour class.
