If you hike during the summer, you could learn to snowshoe! This workshop will cover clothing and equipment choices, being prepared for the outdoors in winter and techniques specific to snowshoeing. Practice your skills on a Saturday field trip (moderate exertion). Snowshoes are not provided for the field trip, but rentals are available at retailers in town.
