About Gilbert:
Gilbert’s business card explains that his art comes from “Converting Mundane Objects Into Art.” Every conceivable “Mundane” object we discard or simply tuck away behind everything else, Gilbert will utilize. Stemming from a remarkable imagination, his forward thinking, visionary creations are not only one-of-a-kind, hand signed and painted, but worthy of a museum’s collection. In his own words…. “My name is Gilbert Candelaria; I’m an artist who found Magic in creating art from found objects, junk and trash. I love the challenge of creating art out of something someone would consider trash or junk. All of the art is created one-at-a-time and once the piece is sold a new adventure begins in search of another blank canvas.(I love garage sales, swap meets and large trash
bins!)”
