Polymer Clay Becomes Antique Ivory Beads @ Tory Hughes Studio / June 2nd, 2012
Shift time, get goodies! Using the synthetic, lightweight and durable material polymer clay, you’ll learn how to accurately mimic ivory and bone, how to patina and antique small objects, and then make a selection of antiqued and embossed ‘ivory’ beads that you’ll wear away from the workshop. Tory invented these techniques which are used worldwide, and her work with them is in major museums and private collections.
