Metal Shop: Woven Copper Sculpture

This is a beginner’s workshop. You will be taught how use recycled copper cable wire and through simple weaving techniques make your own unique metal cloth by weaving and brazing the copper wire together. We will then sculpt an abstract piece while learning ways to connect and shape the metal. I stress an abstract piece, as this is the simplest way to give you the experience in two days. We will be working with an Oxy/acetylene torch.
