Java is one of the most powerful programming languages used to power billions of devices worldwide, from iPhones to navigation systems. Experience the power of Java through hands-on application development. Students will create multimedia applications using images and sound files and will explore games and game design. Knowledge of Java provides a strong foundation for students to learn other programming languages such as C++. This curriculum models courses offered at major universities. Java and Eclipse software are used; no programming experience needed.
