Notan cut Japanese paper is a contemplative process and guiding principle of Eastern art and design, focusing on the interaction between positive and negative space. Using only light and dark paper, scissors and glue, you create amazing cutouts that take on an almost 3D appearance. Each composition takes on a unique appearance, and seems to blossom on the page.
