Volo Gallery is pleased to announce a new exhibition titled Sermarr: Innerscapes, opening Thursday, July 19, 2012. Sermarr is a mixed media artist with roots in NYC and San Francisco, now based in Santa Fe. She chooses unusual materials to create her work on paper and board, including metal, thread, upholstery fabric, glass and acrylic paint. Recent works will be exhibited through Monday, August 6.
Volo Gallery is a new gallery focusing on fresh contemporary art by emerging female artists, located in the Plaza Galeria building at 66 E. San Francisco Street Unit #17 in Santa Fe, NM.The reception for Sermarr will be held on Thursday, July 19 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. A question and answer session with the artist will be featured, and she will explain her unusual process and the stories that inspire her work. Regular gallery hours are Wednesday – Monday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
In addition, Volo will be showing small work by represented artists, who include three New Mexico painters, one New Mexico ceramic artist, three painters and one jeweler based in Vermont, and one 2D artist based in New York. For a complete list, please visitvologallery.com.
