Tony Corbell has found that utilizing Nik Software tools and technologies can result in image-edit times that average less than two minutes, and in this workshop—his first ever in the digital lab—he shows you why reviewers say these game-changing tools “should be required” for all photographers.
You are taken step-by-step through the process, from the moment of image capture all the way through to the print. We begin by heading into the field, looking for light and photographing the world-renowned Albuquerque Balloon Festival and other New Mexico landmarks. Tony teaches you how to express your voice with camera, lighting, and post-production techniques. We also work with the leading techniques in black-and-white and explore incredible opportunities to experiment with color.
We then make our way back into The Workshops state-of-the-art digital lab, where we cover such topics as file organization; saving time via selective editing; noise reduction; making gallery-quality black-and-white images; and sharpening for specific output. We explore retouching techniques that allow you to minimize the hours spent in front of the computer and maximize the ones behind the camera.
Join Tony for a unique opportunity to develop your own personal style, stretch your creativity to even greater heights, and harness the power of Nik Software.
