About Brad: Ceramics Instructor and Metal Arts Instructor; (metal work, welding & steel sculpture) Adult, PAACE & Teen Programs
I graduated from Sacramento State University’s fine art program. My clay teachers included Robert Brady, Peter Vandenberg, Steven Kaltenbach who were all students of Robert Arneson. I have taken seminars from various teachers as over the years including Beverly Mayeri, Steven Roberts who both work in clay. My metal shop experience started when I was in middle school. I first learned about metal work and welding in middle school. I learned to arc welding while in High school in Grass Valley, California. I began work in a few bronze foundries after college. I worked as a metal chaser at Bennet Sculpture and Fine Arts in Metal which are two foundries in Northern California. Not long after moving to New Mexico I began working at Shidoni Foundry in Tesuque, NM. I have taken addition welding and metal forging classes at SFCC. I am a multimedia artist with most of my artwork dealing with the psychology of the human race.
