
Adobe Premiere Pro has recently immerged as the preferred video-editing suite among editing professionals worldwide. This Mac and PC friendly program is the perfect software for those wishing to learn simple video editing techniques. The program’s main strength is that is allows the most novice user to become easily acquainted with non-linear editing, and then grow into its more advanced tools.
Will begins this two-and-a-half-day intensive with a complete overview of the different tools that Adobe Premiere Pro has to offer. We learn to import and organize video, audio, and image clips, and then arrange them into a timeline where we add transitions and titles. From these basics, we move on to more advanced techniques such as audio mixing, adding stylistic effects, keframing, and exporting your finished product for DVD, Blu-Ray, web use, or email.
The structure of the workshop combines presentation of material, software demonstrations, and plenty of hands on practice in Santa Fe Photographic Workshops state-of-the-art digital lab with one-on-one assistance from experienced staff.
Whether you are new to video editing software, or have used programs such as Final Cut Pro in the past, you leave with the ability to quickly and efficiently complete your video editing projects using Adobe Premiere Pro.
