In this 2 day workshop you will learn how to use acrylic gels and pastes to extend and alter your paints and create both applied and implied textures. You will learn how to use acrylic mediums to create depth in your paintings and also how to embed and collage papers which you have created. You will then integrate transfers into your mixed media work and finish up with seamless clear layers. I will show you how to make some innovative tools for working with acrylic and I will share with you many of the tips and tricks found in my three books.
All levels are welcome and individual attention is possible in this small group setting. All supplies are included in the price so you just show up for your art. The class is held in my light filled studio in Santa Fe and is limited to 8 participants. You will leave with at least 2 finished works of art. Sign up soon and email me with any questions you may have.
