Artist Talk: Narcissus Quagliata – Archetypes and Visions in Light and Glass / July 17, 2013

Italian artist Narcissus Quagliata pioneered the methods that have broken the boundaries of glass as an art medium. He has created large-scale projects on three continents, including Divinity in Light installed on a Michelangelo basilica in the artist’s native Rome. Quagliata will use this and other projects as a lens through which to discuss the significance of light as a relevant medium in the contemporary environment, and present his work on the figure as a symbol that mirrors the human soul.
