The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum offers many educational opportunities for life-long learning. Programs include adult learning and lectures, Art and Leadership for Women, family, and youth.
Family Programs
Programs are for children age 4-12 accompanied by an adult and led by the education staff unless otherwise noted. Programs are offered monthly. Each program begins with a discussion in the galleries of the learning theme to develop critical thinking skills followed by a hands-on art experience.
The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum’s education and public programs have won praise from parents, educators, and school administrators, as well as awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, New Mexico Arts, and Santa Fe Arts Commission. Since its opening in 1997, The Museum has served over 150,000 people through its education and public programs.
