Guitar Lessons – Flamenco, Classical, New Mexican Folk Music with Roberto Gonzales

Roberto has studied with the original masters of New Mexican folkloric music, with emphasis on the indigenous music of Santa Fe. Blending elements of Spanish, Native American, Mexican and American folk music traditions. He performs locally at many resorts, and public and private events, often collaborating with other local masters, such as Antonio Mendoza (Mexican and Latin guitar), Chuscales (Flamenco), Mariano Romero (Traditional Songs of Santa Fe), Antonio Rivera (Traditional Dance Music of Santa Fe), and the late Ruben Romero (Classical /Flamenco).

Roberto is widely reknown for his knowledge, versatility, ability to collaborate, musicianship, receptiveness, and depth in working with other musicians and students. His unique gift of patience allows others to relax and to ultimately enjoy and maximize the benefit of what is demonstrated.

Cost: Rates begin at $40 per hour for private instruction. Group prices upon request.
