Scheduled workshops are 4 or 5 days long. Special small group workshops or private classes may be arranged if Paula’s schedule permits. Paula Roland’s 1600 square foot studio in NW Santa Fe, NM is a fabulous space for encaustic painting, printmaking, and mark-making workshops. It is also where Paula creates her personal works and she will share her studio set-up tips with you. There, you will enjoy Santa Fe’s big blue skies, views of three mountain ranges, and quiet walks in the pinon and juniper studded hills. JOIN US FOR AN ENCAUSTIC WORKSHOP SOON! It is a FABULOUS experience that you will never forget!
Paper, pigment and heat have become my new mantra. Your workshop is transformative and a revelation for any artist looking to inject new life into their practice. You cover so much, and are truly inspiring, but it is your supportive energy, keen eye, and guiding artistic spirit that really makes your workshop soar. -- David A Clark, Palm Springs, CA
The encaustic monotype helps to expand my thought process when making art. It's a great way to break free of old stifling habits. -- Claudia Balthop, artist
I loved your workshop and your energy. You are always so inspirational (4th workshop)! Pat Aaron
The workshop was great and is inspiring my studio work … taking me into different directions. (2nd workshop) Susie Schweppe
