Cottonwood Gulch Adult Treks is a vacation for those of you who like a little pristine wilderness to fill your days and a glass of wine by campfire at night. Cottonwood Gulch Adult Treks is a place for those of us who need to get our hands and boots dirty in order to understand New Mexico. We take you on world-class outdoor excursions, but Cottonwood Gulch Adult Treks is much more than that—we also use our hands to explore Southwestern art, archaeology, reptiles, and dinosaur bones. This is a true adventure through the wild lands of New Mexico.
Our Adult Treks give you the opportunity to explore the vast wilderness and unique culture of New Mexico with our professional outdoor guides. We have three options for your expedition:
- A Women’s Wilderness Retreat
- Fly Fishing in New Mexico’s beautiful waters
- Canyon Country Ramble Through the Southwest’s Red Rock Canyons
We have been leading expeditions since 1926, and we would love to have you join us.
Why the Southwest?
There are few places in the United States that are still as wild and demanding as the Southwest. Elk, bear, wolves and deer roam wild across the forests; hawks and eagles populate the skies; the desert is home to coyotes, lizards and snakes. For thousands of years, human cultures have existed, adapted, intermingled and flourished here. Since 1926, our expeditions have explored the wilds, the history and the society of the Southwest, always discovering more to see, more to learn, more to understand.
$1,650 for a 6-8 day trek. Max 15 trekkers.
