- Sunday, March 8: Encaustic Painting, with Andrea Cermanski
This two-day workshop with abstract landscape artist Andrea Cermanski is available at the beginner and intermediate levels. Learn basic encaustic techniques, fusing, and color theory, as well as more advanced techniques such as carving, transfers, and collage.
- Monday, March 9: Monday Night Swing Dance, at Odd Fellows Hall
You’ll find all styles of swing dancing here: jitterbug, lindy hop, east coast swing, charleston, shim sham, balboa, and more. Rotating teachers will start each class with a lessons on various styles and techniques, followed by a swing dance with music provided by a variety of DJs. This is an all-volunteer organization. All ages, all levels, smoke & alcohol free. Casual dress, no partners required…
- Tuesday, March 10: Customized Group Intuitive Painting Experience, with Julie Claire
Great for team building and bringing people together in a safe and non-judgmental space, creating intimacy and shared creative moments which encourage heart connection, trust and creative risk. Julie Claire is a professionally certified creativity-based coach (PCC, NCC) with over 1000 hours coaching individuals and over 1000 hours facilitating creative experiences for groups. Her studio on Upper Canyon Road has the feel of a retreat spot, with riverside seating for lunch, situated in a historic art compound which is quiet and enchanted.
- Wednesday, March 11: Glass Bead Making, with Donna Nova
Study in the “Soho of Santa Fe” where several glass workers have banded together so that visitors may visit the studios all in a short period of time. Learn to make glass beads in the style of the grand Italian bead makers! During this four-hour, individualized class, students will learn the basics of glass bead making, learning many techniques, and focusing on the application of glass frit. Each student will complete many beads!
- Thursday, March 12: Paint Moment, with Robbi Firestone
Never touched paint? Or are you an experienced painter? This 2-hour, step-by-step, guided painting class inspires your inner artist. Bring friends and transform a humdrum evening into an unforgettable, creative adventure! Take home your own mini-masterpiece to LOVE. Bring a bottle of wine. Packages and private bookings available.
- Friday, March 13: Thrive Santa Fe | Align with Prosperity + Love
Are You Ready To Make a Profound Shift To Prosperity & Love? Now you can watch some of the most beloved movies and align the mind with the power of the heart through the Alignment Process. David Barnes and Sue-Anne MacGregor will be presenting: Thrive Santa Fe | Align With Prosperity & Love at Unity Santa Fe, March 13-15, 2015, to discuss the Alignment Process and how to align with prosperity and love.
- Saturday, March 14: Weekend Art Immersion, with Lauren Mantecon
A unique Santa Fe Art Experience in a weekend retreat. These personal weekend-long retreats focus on mixed-media techniques for 1-3 people at a time. This retreat includes housing and lunches at artist Lauren Mantecon’s Santa Fe studio. Arrive on Friday, leave on Monday.
