All the basics will be revealed in this afternoon weaving class. Perfect for those wanting to revamp their basic weaving skills or for those new to the medium. Over the course of 18 assisted hours, students will learn to plan and wind warp, dress the loom back to front, create at least 3 distinct projects, learn a few basic patterns, how to analyze and read patterns. Some materials will be provided, however students are encouraged to bring their favorite materials as well. The first day of class will be an extended class to allow for warping time (2pm-6:30pm). The class will be held on EVFAC’s numerous looms so be sure to reserve your loom when registering. Your chosen loom will be available to you throughout the 6 weeks and for one week after the class ends. Your loom may be available to rent after that time. Class size is limited, so register early!
