This workshop provides a strong foundation for using your digital camera with ease in the field. Throughout the field trip experience, students have the opportunity to practice, become more familiar and gain a new understanding working with shutter speed, aperture, depth of field, exposure, flash, basics of light control and the use of histograms. Students have the time, while receiving on going guidance, to explore methods of expanding personal creativity and the art of composing. Also included are class discussions, slide show viewing and critiques after each field trip. Field trips will be decided by students. Saturday’s suggested location will be at the Santa Fe Farmers Market. Students need to bring a DSLR, digital camera.

“I myself have met very few people, artists, who would offer up their time and knowledge so generously and freely. Sasha is a diamond among teachers, and I would encourage anyone who is looking for a mentor, to spend one hour with Sasha, only then will you understand how great this women truly is. She can take your work to new limits, pushing boundaries you didn’t know existed, and will open up worlds of possibilities right in front of your eyes. All you have to do is listen and see for yourself.”
